Chanwit Boonchuay
Mr.Chanwit Boonchuay is a Ph.D. candidate in electric power system management at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. Before visiting The University of Tennessee, he spent two months as a visiting scholar at the Center for Electrical Energy Systems, The University of Hong Kong, in 2009. His current interests include AI applications to power systems, power system restructuring and deregulation, and also risk management in energy market. His visiting period is January to December, 2010

Yong Jia
Yong Jia is a direct-Ph.D. student in Department of Electrical Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, China. Now he is in the Min Kao Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee as a visiting student. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2008. His research interests are wide-area power system measurement and power system dynamic analysis.

Arif Karakas
Arif Karakas is presently a visiting scholar at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his B.S. degree from Istanbul Technical University in 1998, M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Yildiz Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey in 2000 and 2007 respectively. His research interests include power quality, voltage stability, load modeling and unit commitment.

Zhenzhi Lin
Zhenzhi Lin is a post-doctoral research scholar in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Hefei University of Technology, Hefei, China, in 2002, and South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2008, respectively. From April 2009 to July 2010, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Zhejiang University, China. His research focuses mainly on power system restoration, power system stability, and power system wide area monitoring and control.
